My sister surprised me with a Limelight Hydrangea last fall, and it is blooming! I just love hydrangeas. This is a sun loving variety. It is a wonderful addition to this part of our landscaping. I can't wait till it is big and billowing over this area with blooms.
Also, Todd added his ornamental grass he has been wanting in this spot.
The petunia annuals did not do as well this year because of the drought we had. My daughter is so good at helping me dead head the annuals. :)
Black-eyed Susan's are doing good. We mulched this spot and are trying to water and maintain it. The plants are all immature and will grow, fill out and fill this space better in the future. I shared this vision with you in a previous post. It is inspired by Better Homes and Gardens magazine. Read how it all got started here ------> Beautiful Flowers
Looking good ! <3
